Jointly received the category award "Logistics DX/Standardization Award" in the Green Logistics Excellent Business Awards.
PALTAC, together with YAKUDO Co., Ltd. and Sagawa Express Co., Ltd., received the “Logistics DX and Standardization Award” at the “2024 Logistics Partnership Excellence Business Awards” organized by the Green Logistics Partnership Conference, and was commended at the “2024 Green Logistics Partnership Conference Logistics Partnership Excellence Business Awards” held on December 23, 2024.
This award was given in recognition of the fact that, in the field of supply chain management, which includes the retail, wholesale and logistics industries, multiple companies from different industries and sectors have collaborated to create a system that uses AI and product demand forecasts to determine the optimal number of trucks and loading ratio. The use of this system has led to increased efficiency in areas such as joint deliveries between non-food and food departments and product inspection at retail stores, and has also led to a reduction in CO2 emissions through the optimization of the number of vehicles used. In addition, as the industry's first “system” for supply chains, it is a business that can solve problems from a variety of perspectives, and it is also expected to be horizontally developed to other industries and other types of business.
PALTAC, together with eight other companies, Asahi Logistics Corporation, Suzuyo Corporation, Sumitomo Seika Corporation, Dio Logistics Corporation, Nihon Novopan Kogyo K.K., Unilever Japan Corporation, Lion Corporation, and the Institute for Distribution Economics, Japan, jointly received the highest award from the Minister of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism in December 2023. Ltd., Unilever Japan Corporation, Lion Corporation, and the Institute of Distribution Economics, Japan.
The award was given in recognition of their efforts to build a sustainable logistics system that addresses the 2024 logistics problem and to consider the environment through collaboration among multiple companies from different industries, including shipper companies, consignees, and logistics companies, utilizing relay transportation, DFL (*1), and DX.
PALTAC was jointly awarded the Minister of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism Commendation, the highest award, in December 2022, together with seven other companies: MGC Woodchem Corporation, Sapporo Group Logistics Co. Ltd., Fujifilm Logistics Corporation, Unilever Japan Corporation, and Lion Corporation.
The award was given in recognition of the collaboration of several companies from different industries, including shippers, consignees, and logistics providers, to improve transportation efficiency while reducing CO2 emissions and other environmental impacts and improving the working environment for drivers.
