Established a local subsidiary in the Republic of Indonesia

Having positioned the trading business as a business domain to be strengthened, including the establishment of a local subsidiary in the Socialist Republic of Vietnam last September, we have been working to enhance our overseas information gathering capabilities and sales. We have decided to establish our second subsidiary in the Republic of Indonesia to further accelerate our overseas business development by leveraging the experience and know-how gained through our Vietnam subsidiary.

The average age of the population in Indonesia is low, and the working-age population is expected to increase until 2055. On the other hand, due to restrictions imposed by Indonesian government policies, the entry of Japanese retail and wholesale businesses into the country has been limited. With the easing of these regulations in 2021, we will take on the challenge of expanding our business in Indonesia, where growth is expected, by establishing a local subsidiary.

We hope to contribute to the business expansion of Japanese and local retailers and manufacturers and to the realization of affluent and comfortable life for Indonesian people by developing wholesale business utilizing the distribution function we have cultivated in Japan and the know-how we have acquired through trade.
