Developing and Securing Diverse Human Resources

We are working to secure diverse human resources in order to execute our strategy to respond to rapid and complex changes. We are actively hiring people with specialized skills, such as digital technology, and working to increase the ratio of female managers.

Ongoing Human Resource Development

  • To realize our Long-term Vision, we provide opportunities to update and reskill the skills and mindsets needed to execute our strategy. Specifically, in addition to training tailored to each individual's growth stage, we offer a wide variety of correspondence courses that can be taken according to individual needs, training sponsored by each Headquarters to enhance expertise, and a training program that is open to the public, thereby expanding opportunities for employees to learn on their own initiative and continuously support their growth into professional human assets.
    To effectively utilize digital technology, which is indispensable for the creation of new value in distribution, we have created an internal community portal site where employees can interact with each other and share knowledge, know-how, and issues, regardless of location or Department, to improve the digital literacy of our employees.
    In addition, we will provide new learning opportunities through job rotations and open recruitment for new departments, leading to "diversity of knowledge and experience" from the perspective of different Departments.

Flexible Recruitment of Human Resources

In April 2024, we introduced the Alumni System. We believe that by opening our doors to a wide range of people, we can create diversity and promote innovation more easily by having alumni (former employees of the Company and those who have declined job offers) who know the Company well and have cultivated knowledge gained outside the Company work for the Company.
We are also working to increase the ratio of female managers as one indicator of diversity, and are actively hiring to increase the ratio of female employees, which currently stands at approximately 20%, as well as expanding systems that enable flexible work styles that balance work and family.

Proactive and Continuous Human Resource Development

As the saying goes, "A company is only as good as its people," and the growth of its employees is essential to increasing corporate value. We have set "human resource development" as one of our top priorities, and are actively and continuously working on human resource development.
In line with this policy, we conduct training programs according to age and rank.
