PALTAC has a social mission to "deliver essential daily necessities to people at all times in order to realize affluent and comfortable lifestyles. In order to fulfill this mission, we believe that it is essential for each and every employee, who are the capital and assets of PALTAC, to have a high awareness of their own health and to be active in a healthy and vigorous manner both mentally and physically.
PALTAC regards the maintenance and promotion of employee health as an important management Section and has established a promotion system and is actively promoting various initiatives.

Health Management Promotion Structure
At PALTAC, the President and Representative Director is the Chief Health Management Promotion Officer, and the Director in charge of Administration, CSR Promotion Headquarters, and Management Planning Headquarters, led by the Merchandise Headquarters, which plays a central role in human capital management, will clarify specific issues and consider measures to strengthen health management, in cooperation with the Health and Safety Committee, Labor Union, Health Insurance Union, etc. at each business location. In cooperation with the health and safety committees, labor unions, health insurance associations, etc. at each business site, we will implement, evaluate, and improve systems and measures on an ongoing basis.
Priority initiatives in health management
- Continue to achieve 100% of employees receiving regular health checkups (achieved for 7 consecutive years)
- Achieve 100% response rate for secondary checkups (68.6% in FY2023)
- Strengthen implementation of mental health measures
- Strengthen implementation of seminars and training related to health maintenance and promotion
- Implementation of health guidance and health counseling by public health nurses
- Introduce health management system
